Walking in you could smell how clean it was! The front desk was friendly and very helpful. I was going to the 16th floor and already had anxiety they pumped me up telling me how good the room view was. When we walked In the room was beautiful and that view was everything! I started feeling bad and left a day earlier than planned they treated me so good called and checked on me and offered me a refund for the night I didn’t stay! Denzel was very professional and very helpful! 10/10 recommend!!! We will return in the fall!

I have stayed at SunDestin twice now and it is one of my favorite places! This particular condo is very nice, amazing views of the ocean, direct access to a very beautiful beach where you can rent chairs and umbrellas. The condo itself is very clean, comfortable, has a standard coffee maker, and provides dishes and a starter cleaning, set with dishwasher detergent, dish soap, bathroom soap . Check-in was very simple. There was plenty of parking. I hardly could tell construction was happening when we were there. Just as a heads up, you are not allowed to bring your own umbrella to the beach. However, they do let you bring your own canopy/chairs to the beach. I highly recommend staying here!

Absolutely gorgeous condo! From the cleanliness, location, view, and decor... everything met my high standards.
There were renovations being done, so a little bit of construction noise periodically. As well, the common areas were a little bit of a work zone or closed off. Didn't bother us much, since the weather was perfect and enjoying outside.

The condo was great, clean and great view. Only down side that is not related to the condo/unit itself is that I did not know there was going to be so much going on renovation wise...pool was open but not useable with work going and you could hear the work going on when sitting on the beach. But again...the condo itself was great!

It was known that the building was in the process of renovation prior to our arrival, but upon checking in, the front desk person immediately addressed our concerns regarding the inability to use the balcony of our rented unit by moving us to comparable unit with a usable balcony. Excellent views. The concierge and staff were great. Location offers plenty of things to do within a few minutes in either direction. Ok here are a few details that were overlooked. The front door security latch was broken. One of the toilet seats was loose. The bedroom balcony glass door was difficult to lock. The light over the kitchen counter was blinking. And there was construction that made it difficult to get unloaded at the front door. Overall the location and staff helped us get over the inconvenience. Hopefully next time they will be finished with construction.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The entire place was spotless from top to bottom and offered a sense of homeliness from the time we walked in. The only drawback I had was while making this reservation the pictures made me believe that this was a full view of the ocean when it is in fact a partial view. Nonetheless, the view was still breathtaking and serene. Highly Recommend.

Everything was great as advertised. The only negative was the limited parking and drive up access to the entrance due to construction. It sounds like next years construction will be worse. Several long term guests indicated they will not come next year.

We stayed in room 1616 at Sundestin Resort. The room was very clean and well kept. We did have two small issues. Based on the description for amenities listed for the room we were under the impression we would have a washer and dryer in the room. We did not. There was one right at the end of the hall that you can use for $2.50 and wash and $2.50 a dry. Not to bad just was expecting one to be inside the unit. There was also an issue with the kitchen hot water when we arrived. There was none but there was hot water In the bathrooms. We contacted on site maintenance and they had the issue fixed in less then an hour.
The over all cleanliness of the room I would say was a 10/10. I found no dust, fingerprints on anything, or just general dirt that accumulates places. I am a very clean person and i criticize all places all the time.
Overall experience is a 5 star response. Minus the two minor errors we encountered would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I came down Thursday early and was able to check in at 2pm(thank you!). We state through Sunday and had a wonderful time. The condo was updated, very clean, bed was great, and the view was wonderful from the 16th floor. I was initially a little disappointed when the view wasn’t facing directly at the beach, but was a side view with half being of the beach and the other half of Destin. However I really grew to like the view of both. The only negative we experienced is the beach chair situation. If you don’t book the chairs plenty of time in advance, you will be in the 3rd row of chairs and the whole beach is taken up by the chair rentals. So the only place to sit is behind the third row of rental beach chairs and I just didn’t like the situation. Other than that, everywas perfect and loved our stay!

The only downside to our condo is that there wasn't a washing machine or dryer in the unit itself. One was provided down the hall. One of the kitchen cabinets didn't close all the way as well and the bed was comfortable but it is very tall so a shorter person would have to climb up into the bed. Other than that, it was a very nice and cozy. The view is amazing. Very clean.

Initially, I was annoyed with SunDestin because I had tried communicating with them a couple of months before my arrival. I emailed them seeking logistical information for proximity to airport, golf courses and other attractions I was interested in, with no response from anyone. However, and upon touch-down in Destin the distance to the facilities weren't bad. The staff was great and friendly, the foyer smelled good and fresh and my room was fantastic, from cleanliness to views of the Atlantic Ocean on the 16th floor. If you Stat at this property try to select anything a unit on the 10th floor and above. The golf courses, Regatta and Emerald Bay were well within a 10 minutes drive, the Outlet Mall, maybe 12 minutes away and the seafood restaurants and grocery stores within 5 to 8 minutes of the property. But be advised, I traveled in February with minimal crowds. I was advised by some golfing friends it could take up to 3 hours to travel 3 miles down Harbor Blvd. Overall, I would definitely stay at SunDestin again but request a unit with a view facing directly south towards the Atlantic Ocean. My unit had a more southwest side view of the ocean, but the views were still acceptable and satisfying.

On the 16th floor high above the noise with a beautiful view of the Gulf and beach. Four fast elevators make the height no problem. The slight angle to the beach allow a full beach view but with a wind break and total privacy on the long balcony accessible from the living area as well as the bedroom. Well appointed furniture and very relaxing memory foam mattress. The management personnel were friendly and accommodating in every respect. I really can think of nothing to complain about in the least. It was a wonderful experience at a very competitive price. We will ask for this specific condo next year.
