Welcome to the SunDestin Beach Resort by Scenic Stays, the premier condominium in the heart of Destin situated on a private beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico! The onsite Scenic Stays team at SunDestin looks forward to welcoming you to your next beach vacation at our 24-hour front desk. The experience of a lifetime awaits! SunDestin Beach Resort features expansive onsite amenities including a newly renovated outdoor pool, outdoor hot tub, steam room, sauna, outdoor tiki bar (open seasonally), workout facility, event/meeting space, gift shop, complimentary DVD rentals and much more!

Upon entry to SunDestin Unit 803, you are greeted by a fully appointed, well stocked kitchen for home cooked meals or a quick snack to take to the beach. An open dining and living room concept immediately follow, with comfortable seating for 4 guests and a relaxing sofa and armchair set after a long day at the beach and pool. Sweeping views of the Gulf of Mexico and the emerald waters welcome you from the living room and spacious balcony with seating for two. Enjoy beautiful sunrises and calming sunsets directly overlooking the beach!

Refresh every night in the comfortable king bed located in the master bedroom, while the kids relax in the queen sofa sleeper located in the living room. Enjoy the flat panel televisions located in the living room and bedroom both equipped with DVD players. DVD rentals are available in the lobby directly across from the gift shop!

Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.

Please note that La Dolce Vita is the beach service vendor for this property. While beach service rentals are not included in your stay, you can easily contact them directly for all your rental needs.

Please note: As part of an exciting resort enhancement project, some amenities at SunDestin Beach Resort are currently under construction, including the restaurant, and outdoor pool.

During this time, guests may continue to enjoy beach access via the ADA-accessible pathway located around the side of the building. We are thoughtfully welcoming reservations now and throughout the spring while setting clear expectations in advance to ensure a comfortable, positive stay during this improvement phase.

These enhancements are designed to elevate the guest experience for years to come, and we look forward to welcoming guests in Summer 2026 to a beautifully refreshed SunDestin Beach Resort—one that reflects the level of care, comfort, and coastal hospitality our owners and guests expect.

Wonderful September Stay

We stayed on the 8th floor, and everything was just great! Room was clean, view was great, pool was nice, beach was awesome, and price was completely reasonable. Will definitely recommend to our family/friends and stay here again!!

Nice but not great

Construction on property wasn’t relayed at time of booking looks like all the widows are missing Parking is a disaster and having checkin at 4pm is nuts But the units are perfect right on water just wish scenic stays had more pride in their community with splash pad broken lobby needing renovating parking a disaster and building needing a major renovation it seemed

My husband & I enjoyed our stay here. It was perfect for just the two of us. Right on the beach with AMAZING views. Walkable to a lot of food places & 5 min drive to Walmart and Target. Be prepared to wait a while for the elevators as the hotel does get super busy! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would come again.

Perfect Spot

Loved the location. Central to everything and right on the beach! The accommodations were very good since there were only 2 of us, but it might be a little tight for a larger group. Then again we were only in the condo to shower and sleep! 🤗 Would definitely return!!

Amazing Experience

Suggestions for enhanced stay

We enjoyed being able to cook during our stay, but believe an additional pot holder would be helpful for removing dishes from the oven. Also, a larger fry pan would be nice. Regarding the master bedroom bed, it sits up so high, that kids and/or shorter adults can barely get on it. A small step stool would make a huge difference. One last thing...FYI...the towel rack in the main bathroom falls off the wall. Once again we enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next visit.
