SunDestin Beach Resort is located directly on the sands of the Gulf of Mexico. There’s plenty to do without ever leaving the property; take a dip in the outdoor pool or outdoor hot tub, get in a quick workout in the fitness center, or grab souvenirs for everyone back home at The Sea Store in the lobby. Seasonal amenities include beach chair and umbrella rentals (for an additional fee). The Scenic Stays team is always available at the front desk for anything you may need.

SunDestin 1806 is a bright and open one bedroom, one and a half bath condo with breathtaking views of the emerald waters of the gulf. When you walk into the condo, you’ll pass the bedroom and two bathrooms. A fully equipped kitchen is located at the end of the hall with everything you need to make breakfast, lunch or dinner. Upgraded countertops and a hightop bar makes serving everyone a breeze. Enjoy the flatscreen TV with a DVD player in the living room. Make sure to grab a DVD rental in the lobby, they’re included in your stay. Outside, the balcony has seating for four and is the best spot to enjoy the views of the Emerald Coast. With a queen-sized sofa bed in the living area and a king-sized bed in the master, there’s enough room for up to four guests in this one-bedroom condo.

Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.

Please note that La Dolce Vita is the beach service vendor for this property. While beach service rentals are not included in your stay, you can easily contact them directly for all your rental needs.

Location is one of the many perks of staying at SunDestin Beach Resort- it’s right in the middle of everything Destin has to offer. Check out Big Kahuna's Water Park or The Track Destin, they’re both less than a mile from the property. The Destin harbor is just four miles west, here you’ll find plenty of shopping and dining. Please note: As part of an exciting resort enhancement project, some amenities at SunDestin Beach Resort are currently under construction, including the restaurant, and outdoor pool.

During this time, guests may continue to enjoy beach access via the ADA-accessible pathway located around the side of the building. We are thoughtfully welcoming reservations now and throughout the spring while setting clear expectations in advance to ensure a comfortable, positive stay during this improvement phase.

We Had a Great Time in Destin !

We really enjoyed our time at the SunDestin. If you want your own space on the beach at any resort you might have to get out before 9:00 am or after 5:00 pm.

Beautiful view

We loved the time we spent here. The place is really clean and had everything we needed. It is a very convenient walk to the beach 🏝️ and the restaurant is really good. Everyone was really nice and accommodating. We will stay again.

Condition

I thought that it was very difficult to operate the TVs. I tried to start the dishwasher but it didn’t work. Some of the handles on the doors were dirty and I washed them.

Hello there

Just a beautiful place! Stayed 2 years ago in the same room! It was as beautiful as it was 2 years ago! Loved it! Definitely will be back next year! Location is terrific! Almost everything is either in walking distance or a couple minute drive.

Family vacation

We absolutely LOVED our time with you! The staff was always so friendly! Shout out to Laney Y. for helping us feel comfortable with our trip before we left! Best view

When we arrived it was storming. Rain, lightning, thunder, the streets were flooded, horrible drive. BUT.........we pulled up to a covered entryway and were greeted by the best people. Everyone behind the desk were extremely apologetic for the conditions. Check in was easy and fast. BUT.......when I opened the door of our unit, I knew we had a perfect week ahead of us. Did I forget to mention the view?????? Even though it was raining and windy, it didn't blow onto the balcony. The view was perfect. After we unpacked we just sat on the balcony watching the storm off the coast. Rooms were great, clean and everything we needed. We will be back......

Great

I had a great time. Everything was as described. If you like sleeping under thick covers, you might wanna bring one, there is an extra one but I just like thick covers and cold rooms. Other than that, everything was perfect!

View was amazing, room was amazing. Loved every minute. lots to do, even if it rains. The only thing I would suggest is if you are used to sleeping under covers to bring some. The covers on the bed were kind of thin for me, there was an extra tho. Everything else was perfect.

Amazing view

Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, 2 bathrooms, breathtaking view, sand like powdered sugar and super friendly staff. Couches were a bit old and the railing on balcony was peeling, BUT nothing would stop us from the beautiful view. A bit crazy driving on Highway 98 - took quite awhile to go just 2 miles for the harbor walk and dinner. Great place to stay though!

Amazing view!

The view from 18th floor balcony was amazing. The water was gorgeous. The sand like powdered sugar. Well equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms and very comfortable beds. Destin Sun staff were so friendly. The couches need updated and the rails on balcony are peeling, so paint is needed. The tv reception was in and out. However overall, it was a great place to stay. Get ready to walk to eating places as Highway 98 is a crawl. The harbor boardwalk was so fun and worth the traffic of 2 miles to get there. We loved it! So hated to leave. Definitely rent this place!

Awesome Place!

Before renting this unit I read some unfavorable reviews that I now think were just nit pickin! Yes, the furniture is older and yes, the central air unit box is in the bedroom and does make noise at night. We run a fan at night for air flow and noise, so the air unit just added a little noise, not bad at all, slept like a baby. The unit is just like it says, it\'s clean, air conditioning works great, fully stocked kitchen, and the view is amazing! Spent a lot of time on the balcony. The restaurant in the building, Pelican\'s Roost, was excellent. We didn\'t care much for their pizza, way to much red sauce for us, Pizza Hut across the street excellent, but their seafood and burger meals were awesome! The shrimp, fish, and chicken tenders were great! Their drinks were good also but, a little pricey. They are a branch off of Fudpuckers. So you can eat some of the same food at your hotel as Fudpuckers, just down the road, but not have to wait an hour or more for a table. It\'s a good location, not a far drive to anything. Walmart just down the road. Plenty of places to eat and shopping close by. The staff were very friendly. Beach was great. For the price, very good. We would definitely rent this unit again and would recommend it to anyone.

A wonderful resort.

My family and I had a great vacation. Part of this was because of our wonderful stay at the SunDestin resort. The location was perfect. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. Our room was great and being on the top floor provided beautiful views of the beach, ocean, and a couple of quick storms. The beach area was nice, roomy and clean. Our hopes are that this will be our yearly vacation destination. Hopefully even the same room. Thank you.
