Whether you’re looking for a family retreat or a couples destination, centrally-located SunDestin Beach Resort, fits the bill. Located directly on the Gulf of Mexico in beautiful Destin, FL, this resort has loads of amenities, including a newly-renovated outdoor pool, and on-site fitness facility. An outdoor hot tub are also available as are a steam room and sauna. Enjoy complimentary DVD rentals. Adults can chill at the outdoor tiki bar. Beach chairs and umbrellas are also available for an additional fee, but be sure to swing by the lobby gift shop before heading out to stock up on supplies and snacks. With over 3,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, SunDestin Beach Resort is ideal for weddings, family reunions, and business meetings. Our warm and friendly Scenic Stays team will be available throughout your stay via our 24-hour on-site front desk.
This 16th floor unit has been recently renovated in a coastal-modern décor. The unit features ceramic tile throughout. With a king-size bed in the bedroom and a queen-sized sleeper-sofa in the living room, the unit accommodates up to four comfortably. There are 1.5 bathrooms with new cabinets, granite vanities and a shower/tub combination. The fully-equipped kitchen includes new cabinets, granite countertops and a lovely backsplash, all new stainless-steel appliances and every amenity of home. The dining room seats up to 6 and opens to the living room, which leads to a private balcony that includes a high-top table and chairs to enjoy the emerald green waters and sugary white sands of the beach.
Supplement margaritas and paddle boarding with some shopping at Destin Commons, located just 10 minutes away. The whole family will enjoy this outdoor lifestyle center, boutiques, a movie theater, and a Bass Pro Shop.
Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.
Please note that La Dolce Vita is the beach service vendor for this property. While beach service rentals are not included in your stay, you can easily contact them directly for all your rental needs.

Just some time away
I’m a full time stay at home mom, who really needed to recharge. This was the absolute perfect place to do that! The view from the balcony was amazing. The condo was immaculate. The beach was pristine and the weather was perfect. The property and staff were wonderful and I always felt safe. My only complaint is that I couldn’t stay longer and the wifi is very patchy, especially in the bedroom. Perfect Vacation at the Perfect Location
I could not ask for a more perfect vacation! Everyone at Sundestin was so friendly and helpful from beginning to end! The unit I stayed in (1602) was spotless when I arrived! The view from the balcony was spectacular! So spectacular that on several occasions during my stay, I was able to see dolphins swimming by. Sundestin is the perfect location as well. Easy access to the highway made it so easy to get anywhere I wanted to go. The washer and dryer are at the end of the hall, so close to do laundry since there was not a set in the unit. I had a great nights sleep every night. The bed was so comfortable. The couch, however, not so much. It may be time to replace it, but I really wasn’t there that much so not that big of a deal. I was told there was not a hairdryer in the unit, so I brought mine along. When I got there, there was one in the unit. That should be advertised. I would have liked more suitcase space. Plus no beach towels are provided. Again, I brought some along. Not that big of a deal. Overall. One of the best most relaxing vacations I have ever had! Beautiful Condo!
The condo was exactly like the pictures, if not better! View off the balcony is amazing. Most comfortable vacation bed by far!!! Our first night there, during the night a large mirror in the living/dining area fell out/off of the wall! Other than that everything was intact and in excellent shape! The resort itself scared me and my guest a little as we approached and viewed the entrance, lobby and hallway areas.. but once we opened the door to our room it was a whole different world inside! Great Vacation
We just returned home yesterday after spending six nights in 1602 Sundestin. My husband and I traveled with our 8 year old son. This is the first time that we have not rented a condo with a bedroom for him- but we waited until last minute to book and didn\'t have many options. Our son slept on the pullout couch which he said was comfortable. The only down side to him not having his own room was there was no where to keep his clothes, so all of our clothes were packed into the master closet- which really wasn\'t a huge deal. We were very pleased with this unit and EVEVERYTHING seems to have just been redone. Very clean... This unit is the second from the end, so for the most part it was very quiet. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and everything we needed... Would recommend 1602 to others... and already have two friends checking it.Leslie H. - Posted: 4/10/2021
