The condo was perfect for my husband and me! The view was absolutely beautiful and definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The bed was quite firm, so I would recommend adding a mattress topper for a little extra comfort. We also attempted to sleep on the pull-out sofa, but the comfort was about what you would typically expect from a sofa bed. Overall, we really enjoyed the condo and had a great stay!

SunDestin is a great place to stay. Easy beach access, 2 pools. Condo was clean. We enjoyed our stay and we’ll stay there again. Scenic Stays communicated well with us regarding our reservation.

This was our 2nd time at SunDestin Resort. It’s such a convenient location, easy to get to all the local attractions. Our condo 1709 was clean and well furnished with everything we needed. The washer/dryer was a great addition. We definitely will stay at Sun Destin resort again. It’s so easy to get down to the pool or to the beach. Thanks for a great Destin vacation!

The condo was exactly like the photos! The view was amazing and the balcony was the spot to be! It was extremely clean and ready to go! The kitchen accessories and the amount of towels in the bathroom were perfect. We did leave salt and pepper shakers for the next guests since there weren’t any there! The unit is next to the elevator and noise was definitely heard from the bedroom. If you are sensitive to noise, that may be an issue. Also, the building is undergoing construction. It was noisy at times but not bad at all. If you have nappers, that could interfere. Other than the construction, the place was PERFECT! We would stay here again.

Amazing time!

We rented this unit out last year and chose to rent again this year. We love the view from the 17th floor
Room was very clean I can tell the balcony was remodeled only thing we did not like was how loud the ac unit is when it cuts on staying a week you will get use to it.

The water for the shower is not that hot but it did the job the water for the sink was hot
washer and dryer does not work in the unit we thought it was a great thing to have last year but unfortunately this year you have to use the washer and dryer that is across from the room which was a plus it’s $2.50 to wash and $2.50 to dry there is a change machine in the lobby it only takes $1 and $5.
they are doing construction so if lot is full you have to park a block up next to waffle house
5. Great location yes I would rent the same unit again
6. Food at the restaurant is good the drinks could use more alcohol
7. We rented our beach chairs a month in advance because the front will sell out so I recommend

We stayed here for 5 nights with our 2 young kids. We had an amazing view of the beach and everything is close to the resort!! We will definitely be booking again next summer!

First off this location is great the room and view was spectacular. The restaurant on site on the first floor was great the food and drinks were good. Elevator was good we were on the 17th floor it moves very fast.
The trash compactor is on the other side of where you staying it’s really no good direction how to get to it but it was a distance to get to
The main pool outside was not open but the indoor pool was.
The only thing bad me an my wife were not happy about was the baby roach we seen in our bedroom we was like ok not good so we killed it the next day we seen a big roach going up the wall in the living room behind a picture and there was also 2 baby roaches in the sink I notified the front desk and told them this room needs a deep cleaning.
The beach was great we rented chairs but make sure you book a day and advance to get a great seat in the front with the beach chairs they sell out quick so we settled in the 2nd row it was still great . Washer and dryer was also great.

Loved the place, especially for the price! If you are familiar with Destin, things can be pricey especially resorts. The room was awesome, nice and comfortable. The only issue was that the outside pool was closed because there is ongoing construction. I definitely stay here again though.

My family and I had a great stay here! We enjoyed the fact we were right on the beach and also had a pool to enjoy after being on the beach all day. The unit was the perfect size for our family of 4 being it has a pull out couch. The beds were a little hard but it didn't bother us as we popped up to enjoy the beautiful view from the 17th floor. The only downside to a high floor are the elevator rides (stopping at multiple floors) to get to your room or lobby so keep that in mind. Overall, we had a great stay and have recommended it to friends and family and will book again!

The place was neat and clean. Great views on the patio. Nice modern touches throughout the condo.
Potential renters beware - the use of personal umbrellas is prohibited unless it's a tent on the private beach. It's completely monopolized by the company that rents umbrellas. I asked Scenic Stays a direct question prior to my booking, which went unanswered. I found out the hard way it's not allowed. This information was not included in the rules, but I had to sign a rules agreement with this item outlined when checking in. A little warning would have been appreciated - we would have been more prepared.

The resort was great, there was very very strong air fresheners sent everywhere. It was too much honestly. But our direct room was beautiful and well kept. I read reviews that the bed was so comfortable. I’d say if you like a firm bed it was good but I prefer a softer bed so I wasn’t that comfortable but considering all things we would stay again. The beach access was perfect and the views from the balcony were breath taking.

We LOVED Room 1709 - It was extremely clean, and size was perfect for a couple! The living room was able to accommodate an extra person and the jack and jill bathroom was a nice touch for three people. The Gulf view from the balcony was beautiful, especially being on the top floor. We were away from the extra noise from beach goers and we really enjoyed the relaxation. Our room was also close to elevators, which we loved! We could go straight down to the lobby and walk right out to the beach. I would remind everyone to bring a hair dryer though! We assumed there would be one and we totally forgot ours at home - so frizzy hair it was!! lol! Overall, 10/10 would stay here again!! <3

Location. Location. Location. This was the perfect spring break vacation for my 7 year old son. The pull out sofa made him feel like he had his own room. The ocean view every morning is so peaceful. The sound of the waves will take away every worry. The kitchen had every pot, utensil, and plate readily available for use. The condo was a nice size for a family of 3. I will definitely return.

Our stay in unit 1709 was really nice. The view of the gulf from the 17th floor was really beautiful. The unit was very comfortable, clean and well appointed. We were able to walk along the beach to the Back Porch, beachfront restaurant which was really nice. The chair & umbrella service on the beach was handy [$50 for full day (9am-5pm) for two chairs & an umbrella in front row,nearest the water or $40 for second row].
Check in and out were seamless and all four elevators were in operation during our stay. We were a five minute drive from many neat restaurants (Bochamps, McGuires, Harbor boardwalk, the Surf Hut) and about 10 minute drive to a couple of different shopping areas. We would stay again!

We had a beautiful stay. This was a Mother’s Day trip so expectations were a bit high. Luckily we had an amazing 17th floor view. We felt the staff at check in were incredibly nice. The folks that run the little souvenir snack store on the resort were helpful. The room was spotless and came prepared with dish soap, dishwashing liquid, extra paper towels, bathroom amenities, fully stocked silverware and flat ware set, working filter on the fridge for water, comfy bed, great AC for when it got humid… out of all the restaurants we visited the best fish tacos were at the little bar on site that you see on your way out to the beach. The guys who get you rental chairs, umbrella, kayaks etc.. we’re awesome and worked their butts off. Everything went perfectly. Ubers were cheap as hell (never doesn’t more than 9 bucks to get anywhere from Okaloosa island to Henderson state beach. Awesome place will def make this a tradition.

The unit was clean, in a great location, and the entire stay was very relaxing! The only complaint so to speak was that we were informed there was salt, pepper, and cooking oil in the unit for us to use, so we didn\'t think to bring any. Unfortunately, there wasn\'t any. This was only a very minor issue, however. Aside from that, everything was perfect!

Great location, beautiful full view of the beach from the balcony! Host gave all necessities we would need and more! Condo is beautifully updated and decorated. The entrance is also right off the elevator and indoors which was super convinient. Kitchen was fully equipped and had enough utensils and gadgets to cook a full course meal!
Only negative was the ceiling fans did not go faster than the first speed, even though they were set on the highest. This combined with the ac not being able to go lower than 68 degrees made for very hot and humid rooms.
Would definitely stay in this room and book with scenic stays again!
