For years, SunDestin Beach Resort has been a favorite getaway for beach lovers, with incredible Gulf views, family-friendly amenities, and proximity to some of Destin’s best restaurants and attractions. Now, we’re taking things to the next level with updates to enhance your experience and ensure SunDestin remains your go-to vacation spot for years to come!

Whether it’s the return of seasonal amenities for the summer or exciting renovations, we’re committed to providing the best experience possible. Here’s a quick rundown of what to expect during your visit! 

Gulf-front Unit Project

We’re enhancing our Gulf-front condos with lots of updates! The project includes new sliding glass doors and windows, upgraded entryway doors and locks, and balcony railings and coatings to enhance your favorite place to relax in the sun. New walkways and a partial fresh coat of interior paint will keep things polished and inviting. 

While these improvements are exciting, you might experience noise, dust, and construction activity. But don’t worry—just head to the beach and enjoy the beautiful surroundings while we work to make your stay even better! Barring any weather and material delays, Phase 2 of this project is anticipated to end by Memorial Day weekend, although some work, including conference room renovations, will continue elsewhere on the property. Phase 3 will begin in September and focus on the coastline part of the building. This phase won’t impact Gulf-front units or amenities aside from typical construction noise and dust.

Lobby

Our lobby is the heart of our property and welcomes guests daily throughout the year. Although we like to keep it in tip-top shape, we’re currently replacing some of the sheetrock, with completion anticipated by the first week of May.

Elevator Landing 

The timeline for replacing the elevator landing flooring on floors 10 and below is still being finalized. We’ll share updates as soon as they’re available.

Outdoor Pool

We know how much you and the kids love spending time at the pool, and we’re excited to announce its anticipated opening just before Memorial Day, open daily from 8 AM – 10 PM. 

On-Site Restaurant

Phat Fish is now open, a cozy, family-friendly on-site eatery serving a mouthwatering selection of fish tacos, burgers, seafood baskets, and bowls. Open every day from 11 AM to 9 PM, with early closures possible on rare low-traffic days, it’s a great place for a quick and delicious meal. Beach service is coming soon, so you can enjoy these tasty dishes by the shore!

Star Massage

Relax and unwind with Star Massage! Enjoy a rejuvenating European facial, a soothing couples’ experience, or a 30-minute express treatment. Looking for more? Their deep tissue massage and beachside service will leave you feeling refreshed and recharged!

Massage Hours

Tuesday – Friday: 9 AM – 5 PM

Saturday: 8 AM – 2 PM

Sunday: 9 AM – 3 PM

Tiki Bar

The Tiki Bar will reopen during the first half of June, offering the perfect place to enjoy your favorite cocktails while watching the sunset. Whether winding down after a day at the beach or gearing up for a fun evening, the Tiki Bar is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the views. 

Sea Store

The Sea Store is a one-stop shop for all your beach essentials, conveniently located in the SunDestin lobby. From sunglasses and sunscreen to comfy tees and souvenirs, swing by and grab what you need before heading out! 

We’re replacing the flooring, scheduled for completion before the summer, but that won’t stop you from browsing! Hours of operation vary based on guest occupancy, so if you miss them while on your way to the beach, try again after lunch at Phat Fish!

Sauna

The sauna is temporarily unavailable, and we apologize for any inconvenience. But don’t worry—you can still enjoy our other relaxing amenities during your stay!
