Top 10 Things to Do in Rosemary Beach on 30A

April 15, 2025

Nestled along the scenic 30A corridor between Destin and Panama City Beach lies Rosemary Beach, a thoughtfully designed community defined by European-inspired architecture and timeless charm. Beautiful homes marked by broad porches invite afternoon conversation, while pedestrian walkways and communal pools encourage time spent outdoors. Surrounded by lush green spaces where children can run and play, this quaint community also borders the glistening waters of the Gulf, offering endless opportunities for exploration. It’s no wonder Rosemary Beach consistently lands on top travel destination lists, most recently on Southern Living’s 50 Best Beach Towns of the South 2025.

You might be tempted to spend every day relaxing at an outdoor cafe sipping a cool beverage, but there’s plenty more to see in this charming beachside haven. Here are a few of our favorite things to do in Rosemary Beach!

Grab Breakfast at The Summer Kitchen Cafe

While you’ll find several great places to grab breakfast, we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention The Summer Kitchen Cafe. As the first commercial business in Rosemary Beach, this local hotspot has watched the town flourish over the years and done a little evolving of its own. Originally a small sandwich shack with a simple walk-up window, this popular eatery now offers indoor and outdoor seating and a delicious menu. Locals and visitors flock here daily for tasty omelets, French toast, and breakfast roll-ups. If you miss them for breakfast, swing by for lunch!

Stroll Through the Town Center

Rosemary Beach is a pedestrian-friendly community with walkways that wind through picturesque streets shaded by lush scrub oaks. In the charming town center, you’ll find families strolling with ice cream, playful pups trotting beside their owners, and cyclists leisurely making their way to the beach. Cozy cafes and inviting patios buzz with conversation, but relax—no one’s in a hurry here. It’s all about enjoying the laid-back vibe of 30A and it’s absolutely one of our favorite things to do in Rosemary Beach!

Shop the Boutiques

There’s a certain effortless style that defines Rosemary Beach—a blend of coastal elegance and relaxed Southern charm that’s reflected not just in the architecture and atmosphere but in the way people dress. That same breezy, laid-back sophistication can be found in the boutiques and small, independent shops of Rosemary Beach, where you can spot some great finds. You’ll definitely want to take at least one afternoon to browse the shops for fashion must-haves, curated home goods, and specialty stores for all ages, including plenty just for kids!

Hop on the Timpoochee Trail

One of the first things you might notice in Rosemary Beach is the number of bikes cruising down pathways, parked outside cafes, and propped up against porches. Biking is a way of life here, and it’s how visitors and locals prefer to get around. If you want to venture beyond town, the Timpoochee Trails offers a scenic 19-mile route along 30A, stretching from Dune Allen to Inlet Beach. This paved, multi-use path is a great way to explore the area, winding through charming beach communities, past rare coastal dune lakes, and alongside beautiful state parks!

Try Lunch at Havana Beach Bar and Grill

One of the great things about Rosemary Beach is all the dining options, and Havana Beach Bar and Grill is a must-visit! Everything on the menu is divine, with a rich and diverse brunch menu served daily. Try a blackened grouper sandwich or some mojo pork empanadas with a Siberian Spritz. Whether enjoying a leisurely brunch on the rooftop or sipping a refreshing libation at the bar, this is one place you’ll put on repeat.

Enjoy a Spa Treatment at The Pearl

Nothing screams vacation like a spa day! Even if you only have time for one of their signature treatments, it’s worth a trip to Spa Pearl. You’ll feel completely refreshed after a moisture-infused hydrating facial or a full body treatment to firm and brighten your skin. If you’re lucky, Dad will take the kids on a fishing trip so you can experience the 3-hour Illuminating Pearl Package, which includes a body treatment, warm oil scalp rub, a facial, and a 50-minute massage. Now that’s bliss!

Swing by the Farmer’s Market

There’s no better way to sample the local flavors than at a farmer’s market, and the Rosemary Beach Farmer’s Market doesn’t disappoint. Held every Sunday year-round, you’ll find everything from fresh produce, honey, and jams to local seafood, fresh flowers, and herbs. Browse the booths, grab a few items, and make a delicious charcuterie in your vacation rental before heading to dinner!

Catch the Sunset at Pescado’s

Any trip to Rosemary Beach should include catching a fabulous sunset or two, and we’d suggest you enjoy one of them at Pescado’s Seafood Grill & Rooftop Bar! The views are incredible, the cuisine is fantastic, and the cocktails are expertly crafted. Arrive late afternoon for happy hour on the rooftop to enjoy an aperitif, then prepare for an elevated dinner made with thoughtfully sourced ingredients. Menu options include steak, seafood, chops, and bolognese, and all pair beautifully with their extensive wine list. Enjoy the good company surrounding you as the sun sinks in the sky over the Gulf!

Hit La Crema Tapas and Chocolate for Dessert

Renowned for delicious chocolate confections, La Crema Tapas and Chocolate is just as celebrated for savory small plates and shareable bites. Whether sampling the chocolate fondue, hot chocolate molten cake, or the La Crema Latte, vanilla ice cream topped with chilled mocha caramel latte and dark chocolate, this is the perfect ending to any day in Rosemary Beach!
