Your 30A Fall Itinerary

Start with a Beach Walk and a Hearty Breakfast

Begin your day at the west end of Highway 30A with a peaceful walk at Dune Allen Beach, one of the many beautiful coastal communities that make this stretch of shoreline so special. With miles of stunning beaches along the way, each access point offers something new, and you’ll get to see several on this itinerary.

Make your way to Stinky’s Fish Camp for brunch. Available Saturdays and Sundays, their specialty menu features hearty omelets and Southern favorites, like shrimp and grits and Andouille Benedicts, served alongside their famous Bloody Marys.

Bike the Timpoochee Trail and Hit the Shops at Gulf Place

After breakfast, hop on a bike and explore one of 30A’s most iconic experiences: The Timpoochee Trail. This scenic, paved 19-mile trail winds along Scenic Highway 30A, connecting the beautiful coastal communities and offering incredible views of coastal dune lakes, state parks, and beautiful beaches. No bike? No problem! You’ll find several rental shops along the way, and many companies will even deliver bikes to your vacation rental

Along the way, make a pitstop at Gulf Place to browse the local shops, grab a coffee, or enjoy a sweet treat from Pecan Jack’s.

Grab Lunch and Explore Grayton Beach State Park

For lunch, we suggest Local Catch Bar & Grill for the freshest seafood, locally inspired dishes, and a great kids’ menu. Afterward, head on to Grayton Beach State Park, where you’ll find lots of ways to enjoy the beautiful fall weather on 30A. Catch some rays on the sugar-white beaches, explore the nature trails, and keep an eye out for local wildlife!

Top the Day Off with Dinner and a Sweet Treat

After a full day exploring 30A, settle in for dinner at Gallion’s for a little gourmet cuisine, fine wine, and craft cocktails. Order some smoked fish dip and fried deviled eggs with bourbon and bacon jam to get things started, then move on to the grouper, tuna, pasta, or a steak while reminiscing about the day’s adventures.
