Welcome to the SunDestin Beach Resort by Scenic Stays, the premier condominium in the heart of Destin situated on a private beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico! The onsite Scenic Stays team at SunDestin looks forward to welcoming you to your next beach vacation at our 24-hour front desk. The experience of a lifetime awaits! SunDestin Beach Resort features expansive onsite amenities including a newly renovated outdoor pool, outdoor hot tub, steam room, sauna, onsite restaurant, outdoor tiki bar (open seasonally), workout facility, event/meeting space, gift shop, complimentary DVD rentals and much more!

Upon entry to SunDestin Unit 217, you are greeted by a fully appointed, well stocked kitchen for home cooked meals or a quick snack to take to the beach. An open dining and living room concept immediately follow, with comfortable seating for 4 guests and a relaxing sofa and armchair set after a long day at the beach and pool. Sweeping views of the Gulf of Mexico and the emerald waters welcome you from the living room and spacious balcony with seating for two. Enjoy beautiful sunrises and calming sunsets directly overlooking the beach!

Refresh every night in the comfortable king bed located in the master bedroom, while the kids relax in the queen sofa sleeper located in the living room. Enjoy the flat panel televisions located in the living room and bedroom both equipped with DVD players. DVD rentals are available in the lobby directly across from the gift shop!

Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.

Please note that La Dolce Vita is the beach service vendor for this property. While beach service rentals are not included in your stay, you can easily contact them directly for all your rental needs.

Please note: As part of an exciting resort enhancement project, some amenities at SunDestin Beach Resort are currently under construction, including the restaurant, outdoor pools, and the splash pad.

During this time, guests may continue to enjoy beach access via the ADA-accessible pathway located around the side of the building. We are thoughtfully welcoming reservations now and throughout the spring while setting clear expectations in advance to ensure a comfortable, positive stay during this improvement phase.

These enhancements are designed to elevate the guest experience for years to come, and we look forward to welcoming guests in Summer 2026 to a beautifully refreshed SunDestin Beach Resort—one that reflects the level of care, comfort, and coastal hospitality our owners and guests expect.

The host communicated well, the place was clean and the location was great.
The only complaint I have is the resort has a weird rule about no umbrellas. You have to purchase it through the company that provides beach chairs and umbrellas. It’s definitely a money thing but oh well.

We really enjoyed our stay here! There is construction going on but it’s really not too much of a bother. Only downside was the outdoor pool being shut down. The condo itself was very clean and well taken care of. Everyone who worked there was also very friendly. Don’t count on grilling though, they only have 2 temporary grills and the tanks run out pretty fast. We reached out to the front desk to get them replaced and it took them a couple days to get it done. Other than that it was an amazing stay and I’d for sure stay here again!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is super convenient. You can see the ocean from the place, and it only takes about a minute to walk to the beach. The room was clean, fully equipped, and everything looked new. I also loved the coconut scent of the shampoo and body wash. The host was really nice and helpful, and it was easy to communicate. If I come back to Destin, I’ll definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends.

Great place!

We enjoyed our stay. The room was nice and spacious for a one bedroom. The amenities were great. The restaurant was handy after a long day at the beach. The location was great. Only small issue was wish the room had more towel hooks or another towel rack(only had one rack) to hang bathing suits or beach towels to dry. We would definitely stay here again. We had a great experience!

Felt like home!

Due to unforseen circumstances this was a last minute booking late in the day. The staff were super responsive. Room was awesome. Front desk was great. Building is beach front. The restaurant on the ground floor is nice for a quick bite. Would stay again.

Great stay

This was a great place to stay and it was on the beach so there was no driving involved to get to the beach. The unit itself was good 4 out of 5 on cleanliness but thats expected out of these types of locations. Sofa bed matress could use an upgrade but overall a nice stay and convenient.
